Ampheon were approached by Ural Diamonds to design a website and create an opportunity for customers to register online and receive tailored quotes for gemstones. Ural Diamonds needed a bilingual site to cater for both the domestic Russian market and the International community. The company needed a bespoke ecommerce system to handle self-management of all aspects of the site including a highly complex stone management interfac,e and to translate a complex quoting system into an easy-to-use solution.

Our client is one of the UK´s leading online stationery suppliers and we were commissioned to redevelop their online store. This massive project required a custom ecommerce solution capable of storing thousands of products and categories, batch product and category uploads, scalability for high transaction volumes, credit accounts, discount rates on a client / category basis, quick ordering via product code from their print catalogue, ink cartridge finder with automated import scripts for revised lists of cartridges, online payments via SagePay, newsletter signups, content management and much more.

Bay of Thermi, a business consulting firm based in Thessaloniki, Greece, approached Ampheon to build a content-managed web site. The best fit for the client's requirements (content management, blog and easy to use) was to create a custom WordPress theme and overlay this onto the latest version of WordPress. The site took less than a month from start to finish, and the client is now able to manage all of the site content without further cost or intervention from Ampheon.

Qatar Energy Partners approached Ampheon to build a content management system for their energy production and marine services company. The site utilised Ampheon’s bespoke CMS system featuring a search engine friendly web page address structure, and also included RSS feeds from multiple RSS sources that were amalgamated into a single news stream.

Ampheon were initially approached to take over the development of this leading UK property rental portal after the company experienced difficulties with their previous web development supplier. The site was redeveloped over several phases, before being completely resigned with additional functionality in 2010. The site is now at the forefront of the UK lettings market, receiving outstanding feedback for its ease of use.



Client: Optimum Asset Management

Optimum Asset Management approached Ampheon to build a content-managed web site, based mainly on our experience in the Banking / Finance sector. The site was build on a PHP / mySQL framework, and offered the client an easy-to-use custom-written content management system where their administrator could manage all content, including the meta title, description and keyword tags for search engine optimisation. We also added in some basic best practice SEO techniques to help give the site an initial boost on Google.



Client: LCCI Business Advice Surgery

Ampheon were selected by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry to build a Business Advice Surgery, where members could post questions and business experts could post responses. The system needed to integrate with the existing design style of the site as well as the existing content management components that generate some of the site elements. It also needed to interact directly with the membership database via a custom-written API, and provide user logins and admin areas for the business advisors and LCCI members. From an administration perspective, the administrator needed to be able to manage text and banner advertisements, all questions and answers, all categories and all business experts and members.

Kwik-Step approached Ampheon to redesign their existing web site that was underperforming both on the search engines, and once visitors reached the site. We identified a number of issues that were addressed with a brand new web site design, including navigation, speed of image download and the professionalism of the design. The static site features approximately 20 pages, which Lightbox image galleries including Lightbox printing, and a Video Lightbox option to display a time-lapse installation sequence.

Room FT, a site allowing people to rent their rooms to tourists, approached Ampheon following a desire to switch from their existing web developers. We first thoroughly reviewed the existing web site code finding both functional and security issues that required immediate resolution. Once this was done, we were commissioned to undertake a number of phased update projects to improve functionality and usability for the site visitors and members and have continued to provide phased development updates to the company ever since. This highly custom database website development goes from strength to strength with visitors signing up on a daily basis from all over the world.

After successfully designing the logo for Callanish Partners last year, we were asked to build a brochure website that allowed the company to promote itself more effectively online and offline as well as meetiing with FSA regulations. The response to the web site has been positive, with the design, layout and usability receiving positive reviews both from Callanish Partners as well as our own clients.
