Ampheon Wins Another Web Design Award!

Published on August 3, 2010

We've done it again and have scooped yet another Interactive Media Award, this time for our work on the web site www.ukofficedirect.co.uk. The international award is judged by leaders in web design, advertising, public relations, publishing, news and other industries from companies such as American Express, Cadbury’s, Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, OgilvyOne, Time Warner and Verizon. Judging covers web site design, content, functionality, usability and standards compliance.

The IMA judges commented that the Best in Class (E-commerce) award is the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards, representing the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. In order to win this award level, the site had to successfully pass through a comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of the judging criteria - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.

Malcolm Wright, Managing Director of Ampheon explained that such awards are extremely challenging to achieve “Having achieved an Outstanding Achievement award on a different client project last month, to now go one better and achieve a Best in Class award this month really does highlight how an extremely competent team with cross-disciplines in design, development and business consulting can lead to an outstanding result. If just one of these disciplines fails to perform to the highest standards, it can make the difference between success and failure.”

This independently verified award demonstrates our clear ability offer sites of the highest quality, particularly bespoke e-commerce / online stores.
